FAQs

How does a dress purchase work?

All designs are made-to-order in the colour and size of your choice. We do not sell ready made stock so please take into account the timeframe required.

Can I try on before purchasing?

Try ons are welcome for our Auckland customers, please contact us to arrange an appointment.

For customers outside of Auckland, we aim to provide the most accurate photos and size guide. Please feel free to contact us if you are unsure about your measurements. We do not post for try ons as most garments are unique one-off pieces.

Can you make custom designs?

Yes! We can design a custom gown especially for you.

Please find more information here.

Do you take overseas custom orders?

Yes! We take overseas orders. Design consultation and measurements are done via video call.

Having at least one fitting is still recommended to ensure fit so a mock-up may be required and will be shipped to you. This can be discussed during the consultation.

Can you make the exact design from a photo I found?

We pride ourselves on original design so we do not recreate replicas from photos. However, we can incorporate the elements of the design you like into an original gown.

Who makes the garments?

All gowns are made in studio from start to finish.

What payment options are available?

The website offers many payment options including credit card, Paypal, and Laybuy. Payments are taken in NZD which is automatically converted.

If you wish to pay via bank transfer or in USD, please email us to arrange that for you.

How To Measure

Here are some tips to take the most accurate measurements. It is recommended that you have a friend assist you or you do it in front of a mirror.

Bust: Place one end of the tape measure at the fullest part of your bust and wrap it around your body, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.

Waist: Find the narrowest part of your waist, located above your belly button and below your rib cage.

Lower hip: Measure the fullest part of your lower body. It is below the natural hip line and around 24cm below the waistline.

Skirt length: Measure how long you want the skirt to be, starting from the waist. Include the height of your heels.
